The TMD Advantage - KRAS Testing |
At ASCO, TMD announced the availability of KRAS testing. TMD uses a KRAS mutation kit manufactured by DxS, which has received CE approval in Europe. Because this kit is manufactured to high standards, the KRAS assay is not subject to the degree of variability seen with "homebrew" assays.
Homebrew assays generally do not meet the same level of quality control and
TMD is accepting specimens for KRAS testing, including clinical trial analysis. Turnaround time is a maximum of 5 business days (on average). You can download all of the information, including a “FREE” KRAS and Oncology Targeted Therapies Overview, a Requisition Form, and a KRAS Breakthrough Summary by clicking here.

Certitude™
Did you know TMD offers comprehensive global support for managing the tissue specimens from your clinical trial? Check out Certitude™ to see how we collect tissue, communicate with your clinical sites, track your specimens and manage your data.
Targeted Molecular Diagnostics is a privately held translational oncology and
pharmacodiagnostics laboratory. TMD develops and
performs innovative diagnostic assays to identify
patients who will respond to targeted cancer therapies.
By helping to identify a patient population that will
respond well to a therapeutic agent, TMD enables
bio-pharmaceutical companies to conduct smaller, more
focused clinical trials. TMD’s scientists, laboratory
staff, and physician services professionals provide
innovative, biomarker-based clinical trial design
services to biopharmaceutical companies and
cutting-edge, validated diagnostic tests to physicians
and hospitals.
